Is this reproducible with just curl? It could be a temporary network problem. |

It happens every time for the same command/machine/network. It depends on that machine, since on the same subnet it works on a different macOS machine. At 2-3% of download it returns with error for every execution.Which additional tests can I do? _____________________________From: Jay Satiro <[email protected]>Sent: giovedì, luglio 27, 2017 7:18 PMSubject: Re: [curl/curl] curl: (56) GnuTLS recv error (-54): Error in the pull function. It looks like a temporary network problem. Using that same packaged version in Ubuntu 16 I downloaded 20% in about an hour and the speed was all over the place. It is far too slow for me to complete the whole thing. |

Try adding -v to the command and see if that tells something more. If the transfer ends before the 9877MB are transferred (it showed me Content-Length: 10356881301 ), it really should output an error.Like @jay, I cannot reproduce a problem with this URL, although I built the current git master and ran the command line tool using GnuTLS/3.5.14. I got the whole file downloaded (in my first and only attempt to get the whole thing) in 11m03, at about a 14.8 megabytes/second transfer rate on average. I tried from another machine with curl 7.47.0 (i586-pc-linux-gnu) libcurl/7.47.0 GnuTLS/3.5.5 and it also managed to download the first part of the file just fine. I didn't bother to wait for the whole file there. |

@bagder Thank you for the tests and details. Here is what happens: Part of the file has been saved But not completely, since the whole file is 10356881301B , ~9.7GB. |

That seems to be an error detected by and returned from a GnuTLS function. I've googled around for it a bit but it didn't give me any clear answers. I think it hints to a problem with that GnuTLS version, possibly in combination with something in your network/environment that makes it trigger for you. It's hard to know better without a way to reproduce it.. |

@bagder agreed, there is no evidence that is nothing than a network/env problem, so closing this. |

I'm getting a similar problem and frustratingly can't find any good advice on how to fix or resolve this. Surely something is wrong with curl if so many users are shooting themselves in the foot with this?! |

There's never been any information to indicate that error is anything other than a network problem, not a curl problem. If you have a public URL that you can consistently fetch using wget w/gnutls but not curl w/gnutls then open a new issue and we will try to reproduce. |

@DavidPerezIngeniero: this is an old closed issue that wasn't a real curl problem. If you can reproduce this problem with a modern curl version, then please file a new issue. |

I am getting the following error from my website:
The connection to the website was reset. Error Code: INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE
Download Failed Code #56 Http #0 Password
The website is available on Firefox and Chrome, but will not display on IE/Edge.We host this site on our webserver. All other websites are ok.This is an older Aspx Web application using CLR v2.
I have tried a couple of fixes suggested by Microsoft: Download game ppsspp dave jam.
The Error Code: INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE means that the connection was interrupted or it failed to download the content. Let's start by restoring the advanced settings in the Internet Options.
Go to Internet Options (type it in the Cortana search box) > Advanced tab > click Restore advanced settings > uncheck 'Do not save encrypted pages to disk.' After that, click Apply and OK. Let us know how it went by posting back.
Which had no effect also I cleared the browser cache, flushed the DNS via IpConfig and even set up a new website in IIS with a new App Pool, all to no effect.
The error message is very generic so I am a bit lost, especially as the site is visible to FF and Chrome.
Any help greatly appreciated Dragon city hack tool no download.

I had the similar problem and in my case it seems to be caused by cached credentials. To ensure that you have the same root cause do the following:
- Enable Developer Tool in IE (F12)
- Open Network tab
- Try to open your web site URL
- If you get 401 Unauthorized error then the problem most likely is there
To fix that:
- Open IE 'Internet options'
- Open Advanced tab
- Uncheck 'Enable Integrated Windows Authentication' checkbox
After that you will be always prompted to enter credentials when you open your web site in new instance of IE, but at least this will solve the problem.
Another option is probably to clean Credentials Manager, but i didn't manage to find exactly this record.

Try this option..It works for me..Windows-->Start--> internet options-->Security-->Trusted sites-->Sites-->Add url (uncheck https)..
